Jeff Milder

Jeff Milder is Director of Global Policy & Coalitions at the Rainforest Alliance. Together with RA’s partners, he leads global-scale programs for sustainable supply chains and sustainable landscapes, including the Accountability Framework initiative and LandScale. Prior to joining Rainforest Alliance in 2012, Jeff worked as a researcher and policy advisor on sustainable land-use strategies to better integrate biodiversity, agriculture, and livelihoods in rural landscapes in the United States, Latin America and East Africa. He has published widely in leading scientific journals on topics including sustainability standards and certification, integrated landscape management, agroecology, and payments for ecosystem services. Jeff holds PhD and MSc degrees in Natural Resources from Cornell University and a BA in Earth Sciences from Harvard University.
