Kari Niedfeldt-Thomas

Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP)

Kari Niedfeldt-Thomas is the Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer of Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose® (CECP), the only business counsel and network dedicated to driving measurable returns on corporate purpose. She oversees CECP’s research, corporate advisory services, and strategic direction with its coalition companies, focusing on employee engagement, ESG, DEI, and community investment.

Before CECP, Kari led global corporate responsibility at The Mosaic Company Foundation. She is also the Mayor of New Brighton, MN, and serves on various boards, including r.World, Trusted Fraternal Life, and the FINNOVATION Institute. Kari holds a bachelor's degree in statistics and international studies from The American University and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, where she also served as adjunct faculty.
