Luca Lo Re

Energy and Climate Lead, Directorate of Sustainability, Technology and Outlooks - International Energy Agency

Luca Lo Re is a physicist working on energy and climate policy in the Directorate of Sustainability, Technology and Outlooks at the IEA. He leads the secretariat of the OECD-IEA Climate Change Expert Group (CCXG), informing technical negotiations within the UNFCCC space. He is the author of several energy and climate publications, including the 2021 and 2023 reports "IEA Net Zero by 2050 Global Roadmap ", the recent IEA report "From Taking Stock to Taking Action - How to implement the COP28 energy goals" and several IEA’s World Energy Outlooks and World Energy Investment reports.
