Karen Basiye is a sustainability expert with over 15 years experience. She has not only driven impactful change but has also contributed to a more sustainable and equitable society. She is the Director Sustainable Business, Social Impact and the Foundations at Safaricom PLC. 

She holds a Joint Master of Environmental Science, Policy and Management degree from Lund University (Sweden), University of Manchester (UK), Central European University (Hungary) and University of the Aegean (Greece) www.mespom.eu and a Bachelor of Environment Science degree from Kenyatta University. 

Karen attributes her success to three personal qualities: passion, learning agility & adaptability, and integrity.
