Dr. Chung Yao Yin
Chairman - Nan Shan Life Insurance Co., Ltd.
Since 2022, Chairman Yin has led Nan Shan Life Insurance, pioneering initiatives on service excellence and digital transformation.Â

These initiatives have reshaped the landscape of the insurance industry, earning the title of Asia’s Best Health Insurance Company in 2022 and Life Insurance Company of the Year in 2024 (by Asia Insurance Industry Awards.)

Prior to his chairmanship, he served as Vice Chairman and held roles in product development, actuarial functions, and customer service.

Beyond his primary responsibilities, Chairman Yin champions philanthropy as the Chairman of Nan Shan Life Charity Foundation. He also maintains directorships across various enterprises including Nan Shan General Insurance, Ruentex Industries Co., Ltd., and other Ruentex affiliated companies.

An alumnus of the University of Oxford, Chairman Yin boasts a Doctorate and Master’s degree. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from National Taipei University.
