Pierre Victoria, Sustainable Development Director, Veolia

sustainable development director veolia Pierre Victoria is a graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques (IEP), Paris and holds a Master’s degree in corporate law from the University of Paris. He is currently Director of the Sustainable Development for Veolia and has been appointed employee representative on the Veolia Board of Directors in October 2014. He is also the Managing Director of the Cercle Français de l’Eau. Local and regional representative for 12 years, he was a member of the French parliament (1991/1993) and deputy for Yves Le Drian who had been appointed to the Government. He is the co-author of “Democratic governance, a new paradigm for development”, (2009) published in association with the French Ministry of Foreign affairs, and “Business against poverty” Jean Jaures editions (2011) and also the coordinator of the book “Access to water and energy: From Vision to Action” (Lavoisier Editions: 2005). Pierre Victoria is Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur and was awarded of the French National Order of Merit.
